I was leaving Save on Foods about a a year and a half ago when I noticed a very young girl unconscious laying next to the building. I used my cell to call 911. They were more concerned with an address than the emergency! I told them we were at Save on Foods. They wanted the address. I told them Victoria Avenue. They wanted north or south. This was going on and on for a few minutes, I couldn't believe it. I kept telling them, please dispatch an ambulance they will know where to go, Save on Foods in Cranbrook! How difficult was that to dispatch? No questions about the girl at all! Luckily a doctor happened to be coming in to purchase groceries and he took over.
